Italian Citrus EDP 50 ml

There are many variations of cologne. The original Italian, French, German, and Hungarian recipes typically call for citrus (lemon, bergamot, etc.), herbs (lavender, rosemary), and neroli (orange blossom distillate). It's an instantly recognizable scent.

 

Most classic colognes are very pleasant, ideal for everyday wear for that fresh-out-of-the-shower feeling. To varying degrees, they often don't last long; technically, eau de cologne refers to the low percentage of perfume oil in the final product. Traditionally, they weren't designed to last.

 

This is the accord I wanted to push to the base notes. Instead of the herbs of classic colognes, we use violet ionones to maintain a consistent sweetness. In the base, the liquid crystal scent of copaiba balsam, a white resin from South America, blends with incense absolute and oakmoss. This offers a lingering citrus note: copaiba for the peppery freshness of bergamot, incense for the orange and lemon notes, and oakmoss for the greenery.

 

The Italian coast is special for much more than its citrus fruits. It's a carefree place, where the landscape enchants everyone who sees it. Top notes: squeezed lemon, chinotto, blood orange
