D.S. EDP 50 ml

Something alchemical happens when all the plants—gathered from the hills and jungles—are cooked together. Attars smell like fragrances from another era. Formulations are passed down through generations, and many are unique to certain regions.

 

For “D.S.” I wanted to create the impression of an attar by cooking together accords of yellow lotus, gardenia (which I extracted from my own plant), rose, jasmine, saffron, and vetiver, all rooted in Sri Lankan sandalwood oil, the pure, the real thing—"the real Holyfield deal"—one of the best in the world, given that Mysore has been overexploited.

 

D.S. contains the finest raw materials and can only be produced in small batches.

 

Top notes: frangipani, gardenia, saffron

Heart notes: yellow lotus, rose absolute, agarwood

Base notes: sandalwood, vetiver, musk ambrette
