Bistro Waters EDP 50 ml

I grew up working in New York restaurants. Working in the restaurant business forever shapes your understanding of the world. You're literally in the "right place" during the rush of service (8:30 on a Friday night).

 

It's electrifying: shouted orders, laughter, often awful music that your mediocre boss forces you to listen to on repeat, crazy line cooks, drinks, first dates, possibilities, old friends. The outside world is cut off from the bistro's walls. Inside, we escape or immerse ourselves to experience the scene, the aroma, the food.

 

This is a snapshot of a New York bistro in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when tourists ordered "peartini," vegetables became sophisticated, and people wore fresh, aquatic perfumes.
