Sirenide EDP 50 ml

Inspired by the evocative legends of the Orkneys, an archipelago north of Scotland, Sirenide by Beaufort evokes the myth of the Selkies, sea creatures capable of transforming into human beings. In this version of the tale, it is the Selkie who rebels: discovering that her captor has tanned her skin, she poisons him, recovers what belongs to her, and returns to the stormy sea.

 

This narrative is reflected in an intense and disturbing fragrance, where three different interpretations of "skin" are layered on real leather. A combination of PVC leather, pinseal, and a sharp note of bitter almond intertwines with the ethereal presence of aquatic flowers that bloom, fade, and symbolically return to the water.

 

Beaufort Sirenide Eau de Parfum is a profound and multifaceted composition, opening with notes of blue iris, sea hawthorn, bitter almond, and anise. The floral heart, dominated by water lily and pink lotus, gives way to a full-bodied and mysterious base of ambergris, Atlas cedar, woodruff, and fine leather.
