Hydra Figue EDP 50 ml

A balanced, woody, citrus and marine fragrance, carefully created to capture the organic spirit, wild beauty and slow pace of the Greek island of Hydra. A nirvana for the senses, the fragrance opens with a fresh citrus note of cedar and lemon combined with an exquisite spicy touch of Greek saffron and a unique accord of Ouzo. Bewitching white tuberose and Mirabilis Jalapa add a tranquil character, while a velvety musk caresses the elegant woody notes of sandalwood, ambroxan and recycled oak wood, for a rich and unforgettable trail. Hydra Figue Eau de Parfum's oak wood is extracted thanks to the UpCycled initiative, from pre-used wine barrels. Recycled Hydrolat sage, a by-product of oil extraction from sage, provides a delicate aromatic freshness, paying homage to the island's long-precious natural springs. All Miller Harris fragrances are Eau de Parfum (blended with Hydrolat Sage as a recycled alternative to water)

 

This is a story redolent of human nature, slow living and creative fuel. Hydra Figue was created by perfumer Emilie Bouge and inspired by the natural and wild beauty of the Greek island of Hydra ("the Pearl of the Aegean Sea"), an island where there is no rush hour, but only the call of bells of the church and the lapping of the clear sea against the rocky coasts. The scent of aromatic fig trees and freshwater springs dance across a rugged landscape, where bohemians and artists have long flocked to find inspiration and artistic sustenance.
