Alexandra Carlin was inspired by Pierre Soulages' creations to try to express their essence. She imagined a perfume without binder, without background noise and whose facets, a succession of abstract and contrasting impacts, express black and its infinite brightness.

 

The result? A leather aroma that doesn't fit into any category. A constellation of blackcurrant buds, an overabundance of pepper, styrax, fucus and cade: a palette of dark colors to translate every intensity of black. The shimmer of black ink, evoking the dark mercury and opacity of charred lava.
