It is the tree canopy of the Amazon and the bright pink walls of Mexican architect Luis Barragán. Paradise flowers in bloom and nights dancing to the rhythm of salsa. Hands and hearts full of fruit. But, even more than that, it is a spirit that transcends heat.

 

“In the end, the fragrance is a dream,” says Karl Bradl, co-founder of Aedes de Venustas. “You close your eyes and you disappear.”

 

It is the heat of humid jungle air, the creaminess of ripe fruit blending with spices and woods, the elegance of something both earthy and refined. It is not a postcard from the tropics, but a dreamlike, nuanced night, where the heat lingers on the skin and the air is thick with perfume.

 

A sensorial fantasy, reinvented

SUEÑO LATINO is not a perfume directly extracted from the tropics, but the interpretation of a fantasy: a fruity and sumptuous juice, enriched by the resinous olfactory signature of Aedes.

 

Bradl and co-founder Robert Gerstner collaborated with nez Gabriela Chelariu to create this unprecedented fragrance in the leather-fruity category.

 

“It is lush, rich, in contrast with the humidity and the earthly nature,” explains Chelariu. “There is a lot of moss, a lot of humidity, all inspired by the natural elements. It is a fairytale land.”
