From a block of raw material, the artist already glimpses his work: ginger and bergamot, sculpted with clean cuts, emanate a disruptive energy. Around, lemon and mint are modeled in sinuous curves, smooth surfaces that reflect the touch of the crisp air. Raspberry and jasmine are inserted like small bas-reliefs, delicate blooms set in the resinous veins of the silver fir. The metallic rose takes shape in a solid and shiny body, almost sharp, while the amber slides into a round and soft base, melting the roughness.

 

Finally, the fragrant woods – sandalwood, cedar, guaiac – together with the musk give the sculpture a latent warmth and a sensual patina that invites touch and voluptuousness.
