Fàra is a Sicilian dialect term that refers to the heat of the hottest hours. Sicily, scorching heat, and the small kiosks in the center of the squares become the only oasis where you can refresh yourself with drinks made with sparkling water, lemon juice, mint, and a pinch of salt. But often the thirst is so strong that it can only be quenched by drinking deeply. The drink also refreshes the skin, gliding over it and blending with its warmth.
