Reliqvia Diffuser Sticks 500 ml

A tribute to Reliqvia, the tenth fragrance of the UNUM collection, dedicated to a simply extraordinary place, rich in history and works of art but a great custodian of important relics of the Passion of Christ: the church of the Cross, considered one of the jewels of the baroque Italian. This oratory, dating back to 1608, was built at the behest of the Confraternity of the Sacrament and the Cross which is still operating today and of which Filippo is a member with specific roles as organist and artistic director.

 

Reliqvia speaks of the walls covered in gilded wood, finely decorated with carvings and reliefs, it speaks of the incensed steps towards the great high altar, like a golden embroidery, where inside is kept the statue of the dead Christ, a wooden work from the 17th century and visible only once a year. But he also wants to synaesthetically frame Federico Barocci's altarpiece, the Transport of Christ to the Sepulchre, one of the most beautiful works by the painter from Urbino executed in 1582, and for which he also designed the frame.

 

Reliqvia is therefore a place to meet to recall memories, to remember the time that passes and which becomes solemn and authentic gold, a message of corruptibility and incorruptibility.

 

Reliqvia is the concrete trace, the last trace, to describe in life an existence above us, different and prodigious. It is the always closed wardrobe, the precious custody of the sacred men that makes us understand that time is precious and that it risks being consumed without leaving a clear furrow in life.
